OVERVIEW OF JOSHA

The Jersey Occupational Safety & Health Association (JOSHA)  was set up in 2003 to encourage anyone interested in health and safety to come along and share the evening.

Generally the meeting takes the form of an evening meal followed by local updates on health and safety news after which the main speaker of the evening gives a talk. Guest speakers can be local or UK, but they all have a valid topic in health and safety.  Invites are sent in advance to inform members and interested parties of the meeting..

Membership to JOSHA is £35 per individual. However, companies who may wish to send more than one representative can buy a Corporate Membership for £130 which gives them 5 places. This membership runs yearly from 1 January.

The JOSHA Committee are elected at the A.G.M. and are tasked to provide further evenings that raise awareness and both  information and topical news.
