For the last meeting of 2011 we are combining 3 excellent speakers to talk about a subject important at any time of the year, but potentially more so on the run up to Christmas.

Drugs and alcohol abuse, driving whilst under the influence, and how it may affect your contract of employment will all be covered in a series of 15 minute talks, followed by a Question and Answer session.

Philip Blake’s talk is "The Morning after – how do you know if you’re under the limit", about the effects of drugs and/or alcohol when driving.   Philip Blake is the Jersey Road Safety Traffic Officer with many years in this position, his experience is invaluable.

Chris Wakeham’s  subject will be "Drug and Alcohol misuse at work"  Chris is MD of Hampton Knights.  With a wealth of experience built up over 14 years in the industry he formed Hampton Knights in 2000, specialising in supporting companies and organisations address the issue of drug and alcohol misuse in the workplace.

Heidi Gibaut from Law At Work will cover the subject of contractual responsibilities both of employee and employer in relevance to our theme of the morning.

 A bacon or egg roll, plus tea or coffee will be available at the start of the meeting.
