RISK ASSESSMENT PRINCIPLES
Legislation: Health & Safety at Work (Jersey) Law 1989
A Risk Assessment training course will enable the delegate to establish the five key stages of carrying out risk assessments at work. Look for hazards, decide on potential risk, evaluate these and measure existing controls, record findings, review and revise. Risk assessments can be a simple check of a photocopier to an in depth safe system of work procedure to operate a machine with COSHH, Manual Handling and Noise to take into consideration.
Who should attend?
Anyone taking responsibility to conduct risk assessments at work.
These courses can vary from one day to 2 or 3 days depending on the detail of training required. Each company carries its own certification either through attendance or accredited UK organisations such as IOSH or BSC.
